The Chinchilla Community Kindergarten relies heavily on fundraising for purchasing of resources and consumable products. A fundraising committee will be elected at the Annual General Meeting held at the beginning of the year. The Kindergarten is a non-profit organisation and as such fundraising provides much needed funds each year to support the children's learning.

Chinchilla Kindy has been running a fundraiser called the 200 Club in late 2019. This involves 200 tickets sold for $100 each! We had syndicates going, people going halves and people purchasing their own tickets! When you have $10,000 on offer as your first prize, someone becomes a very happy person for Christmas!

We drew the winner at our Christmas Concert at the Racecourse under the watchful eye of our fundraising officer, Mrs Steph Davies. This also featured 'live' on our Facebook page! Our lucky winner was Patrina O'Rourke and Steph was very happy to ring Patrina with the wonderful news!

We also had five runner-up winners who won $200 each! These were Katie Taylor, Charles Stanger, Sarah Gadsby, Fiona MacLeon and Nathan Braden.

Patrina is pictured with one of our Kindy kids, Rayfe who was happy to congratulate her on her successful win!

A huge thank you has to go out to everyone who supported the Kindy's fundraising ventures for the year!
